Richard "Rick" Rose III was was a kind man who survived a US Army deployment to Iraq. Back in April, he posted on Facebook that he doesn't believe the "hype" around COVID and refused to buy a mask. He even attended a large party in June, no mask in sight.
He was diagnosed on July 1st with COVID, and died on July 4th.
This resulted in this very dark and schadenfreude meme from his own postings:
April 28th: ... I am NOT buying a ****ing mask... June 13: It's not that crowded (at a pool party spot) July 2nd: This COVID **** sucks! July 4th: Obituary for Richard Rose, III |
He made his decision, and he died for it. Let us save the compassion for the living, such as his friends and family he left behind.
And don't be a COVIDiot like Rick.
Get vaxxed. Get masked. Stay healthy.
